VALEO AUTOKLIMATIZACE k.s. is a part of a multinational concern Valeo, focused on a design, production and sale of the systems, modules and components for the automotive industry.Other Czech members of Valeo are Valeo Žebrák and Valeo Humpolec.

In the global scale is Valeo ranking in between 10 biggest suppliers in the automotive industry and by the year 2010 it is going to achieve the Top 5.

ALL OVER THE WORLD Valeo represets 13 production branches, 128 production sites and 65 development centers in 26 countries. Totally it employs 68,000 employees of 70 various nationalities.

VALEO in Rakovník is the biggest employer within the district, it offers the job opportunities for nearly 1300 employees.

It is focusing on the car heating and air conditioning units and control panels. ŠKODA, AUDI, VW, Mercedes-Benz, SAAB, NISSAN, OPEL, RENAULT and Toyota Peugeot Citroën Automobile are among the most important customers.

In the year 2007 VALEO had produced 2,7 mil. air conditioning systems and 5,1 mil. control panels. Within this and next year the production volume is going to increase.
