The History of VALEO AUTOKLIMATIZACE k.s.

VALEO AUTOKLIMATIZACE k.s. in Rakovník originated from a transformation of the company Klimatizační Systémy Automobilů, a.s., the shares were owned by the companies Siemens, a.s. and Ateso, a.s. In July 1995 the company VALEO bought 51% of these shares and one year later also the remaining ones. Since September 1998 this production plant has been carrying the name VALEO AUTOKLIMATIZACE s.r.o.. Since 1st of January 2008 the lawful form has changed to VALEO AUTOKLIMATIZACE k.s.

In July 2005 VALEO celebrated the 10th anniversary of its activities in Rakovník. The open day held at this occasion welcomed almost one thousand family members and friends of the employees.

In 2006 VALEO Rakovník extended for 6.500m2 production and storage area. The new spaces are serving for an internal warehouse of the finished products and for the current production extension in connection with a launch of the new projects in Rakovník. Very important point of extension was also efectivness of material and finished goods flow.
